Tiangong

China's open-source, half-marathon-winning humanoid platform.

Tiangong (Tien Kung) is the open-source, state-backed humanoid platform from X-Humanoid, the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center. Its flagship generation, Embodied Tiangong 3.0 (February 2026), stands 1.69 m, weighs 62 kg, and has 43 degrees of freedom, running on D-Robotics' Xuri S600 embodied-AI chip and X-Humanoid's WISE KAIWU software with whole-body, touch-in-the-loop motion control. Tiangong was the world's first full-size purely electric humanoid to run like a human, and a Tiangong Ultra unit won the world's first humanoid half-marathon in April 2025; the family set further records at the 2026 World Humanoid Robot Games. At the 2026 World Robot Conference on August 19 the center debuted a lightweight variant, Tiangong Omni (1.35 m, 39 kg, for tight-space work, guided tours, rescue and home tasks), alongside a unified 'Pelican-Unify' embodied model. The platform is already used in power-plant patrols and warehouse pick-and-place and by 200-plus universities; hardware, models, and datasets are open-sourced, so there is no single public list price — units are supplied to developers and research partners, with mass delivery of Tiangong 3.0 targeted for H2 2026.
