The next generation of the most iconic humanoid.
The all-electric Atlas replaces the hydraulic research platform with a fully electric actuation system, joints that rotate a full 360°, and a form factor built for real manufacturing work. Boston Dynamics unveiled the production version at CES 2026 and began serial production the same year; its entire 2026 output is committed to Hyundai's Robotics Metaplant Application Center and to Google DeepMind, with additional customers slated for early 2027. Owner Hyundai Motor Group is separately moving to buy out SoftBank's remaining ~10% stake and take Boston Dynamics fully in-house, and its roadmap puts Atlas's first factory-line deployment at the Metaplant (HMGMA) in Georgia beginning 2028, expanding to component assembly by 2030. Atlas is not yet sold to outside buyers and has no public price.
