X-Humanoid

X-Humanoid — the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center — is a state-backed national innovation platform founded in 2023 to build shared 'body' and 'brain' foundations for China's humanoid industry. Its open-source Tiangong (Tien Kung) platform was the world's first full-size, purely electric humanoid to run like a human, and a Tiangong Ultra unit won the world's first humanoid half-marathon in April 2025. The center open-sources its hardware, models, and datasets — used by more than 200 universities — and its CEO has said it is planning an IPO.
