ET1 is the first bipedal humanoid from Galbot (the product brand of Galaxy General), unveiled at the 2026 World Robot Conference on August 19 and opened for pre-order on JD.com on September 3, when it logged more than 200 reservations in 24 hours. Marketed domestically as 'Yinhe Xingzai' (Galaxy Starboy), it is a compact 1.25 m, 32 kg machine aimed at commercial entertainment — stage choreography, theme-park and storefront greeting, and live comedy — rather than heavy industrial work, putting it up against lightweight performance bipeds like the Unitree R1 and AgiBot's Lingxi X2. Galbot bills ET1 as a 'self-learning' humanoid that ordinary users can teach by demonstration without motion capture, and its whole-body motion is driven by AstraBrain-WBC, a 100-million-parameter Transformer motion model in the same AstraBrain family that runs Galbot's wheeled G1 and heavy-load S1. It ships in three tiers — Standard (26 DoF), Pro and Flagship (38 DoF, 26 body + 12-DoF dexterous hands) — with onboard compute scaling from a Rockchip RK3588/RDK X5 baseline up to an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX (100 TOPS). Pre-order pricing has not been confirmed, so the figure shown is an estimate.

Galbot — the product brand of Galaxy General (Beijing Galbot) — pairs a dual-arm humanoid upper body with a wheeled base, optimized for pharmacy, convenience retail, and service environments where full biped locomotion isn't required. Backed by investors including CATL and ranked among China's top humanoid vendors by shipments, it unveiled its first fully bipedal humanoid, the ET1, at the 2026 World Robot Conference.
