About this unit

A buy-it-now $89,900 full-size humanoid — with caveats.

The FF Futurist is Faraday Future's full-size professional humanoid and the flagship of the NASDAQ-listed EV maker's 2026 pivot into 'embodied AI' robots. The 'All-New Futurist,' which went on sale in September 2026, stands about 1.69 m and 55 kg (121 lb) with 31 degrees of freedom and a 1,152 Wh dual-battery good for roughly six hours, and FF bills it as the first full-size humanoid in the US to natively support NVIDIA's SONIC full-body motion-control system. It is pitched for reception, hospitality, commercial services, light industrial support, and university research, with a customizable face display and multilingual voice. The headline is the price — $89,900 including a $10,000 'Skills' package, buyable now on FF.com, Amazon, and RobotShop — with a higher-end Ultra ($129,900) adding 51 DoF (up to 71 with dexterous hands), NVIDIA Jetson Thor (700 TOPS), and 360° perception. Two big caveats temper the where-to-buy appeal: the hardware is widely identified as a white-labeled AgiBot A2 built by a Chinese OEM (FF's own product images reference 'a2'), which collides with the July 2026 US FCC ban on new Chinese-made humanoids and underpins FF's 'Built in USA' plan to assemble domestically from 2027; and Faraday Future is a financially fragile company that has disclosed going-concern risk. FF reports more than 550 robots shipped (mostly quadrupeds) since February 2026. No payload is officially published; the figure shown is a service-class estimate.

The maker
Faraday Future
El Segundo, CA · est. 2014

Faraday Future Intelligent Electric (NASDAQ: FFAI) is an El Segundo, California company founded in 2014 and long known for its much-delayed FF 91 luxury electric car. In early 2026 it pivoted into robotics, rebranding itself a 'Physical AI ecosystem company' under founder and global CEO YT Jia, and now sells a range of 'embodied AI' machines through FF.com, Amazon, and RobotShop: the full-size FF Futurist humanoid (from $89,900), the compact FF Master education/entertainment humanoid (from $9,990), and FX Aegis wheeled-legged quadrupeds. The hardware is widely reported to be white-labeled from Chinese OEMs such as AgiBot, so in October 2026 FF detailed a 'Built in USA' roadmap — US assembly of robots from February 2027 and 'Made in USA' devices and FCC-compliant parts by late 2028, backed by a pledged $5B over 10 years — partly to get around the July 2026 FCC ban on new Chinese-made humanoids. FF says it had shipped more than 550 robots (mostly quadrupeds) by September 2026, with a record 158 in August, but remains financially fragile with disclosed going-concern risk.
