A compact NVIDIA-GR00T research humanoid, lab to line.
Agile ONE SN is the compact, research-focused sibling to Agile Robots' industrial Agile ONE, launched with NVIDIA at GTC Berlin on October 21, 2026. It pairs a 1.4-metre, 43 kg 'Agile ONE S' humanoid body — 31 body degrees of freedom plus two Wuji tactile five-finger hands with 20 DoF each, 71 in total — with onboard NVIDIA Jetson Thor compute (and an Intel base module) and multi-view sensing: head RGB-D and wrist cameras plus 3D LiDAR. Whole-body control delivers up to 140 Nm of joint torque and roughly 3 kg of payload per arm. It ships preconfigured with NVIDIA's Isaac GR00T stack — the GR00T 1.7 open VLA model, whole-body control, and an end-to-end workflow spanning demonstration capture, simulation, training, evaluation, and real-world testing — so labs get one integrated system instead of stitching tools together, and skills developed on SN are meant to transfer to the full-size Agile ONE for factory work. Agile Robots cites early interest from Stanford and ETH Zurich, is piloting humanoids with Audi, and NVIDIA said it plans to invest in the company. Availability is targeted for the beginning of 2027; NVIDIA Halos safety integration is still in development and no public price has been set, so the price shown is an estimate.

Agile Robots SE is a Munich-based physical-AI and automation company spun out of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics in 2018. It grew into a European unicorn on the back of force-sensitive robot arms, mobile robots, and automation systems — more than 20,000 systems deployed and roughly €200M in revenue — and acquired cobot pioneer Franka Emika in 2023. In November 2025 it entered the humanoid race with Agile ONE, an industrial biped built around its 'world-leading' dexterous hand and the AgileCore software stack, and led by co-founder and CEO Dr. Zhaopeng Chen. In mid-2026 SoftBank was reported to be in talks to back an $800M funding round, and in September 2026 Agile Robots and Hitachi formed a strategic co-creation partnership to sell physical-AI factory automation — spanning Agile ONE, robot arms, and mobile robots — through Hitachi's HMAX Industry portfolio.
