Wheeled home robot that folds your laundry.
Isaac 1 is a wheeled mobile home robot built to reset rooms — it folds laundry (finding and picking up dirty clothes, emptying hampers), makes beds, sorts clutter, and puts things away. It is deliberately un-humanoid: a low wheeled base and simple fingerless grippers instead of legs and dexterous hands, collapsing from about 3 ft to 5 ft 9 in to work, with roughly 2 m (80 in) of vertical reach. Launched July 1, 2026 by Y Combinator-backed, San Francisco-based Weave Robotics, it is one of the most accessible home robots yet to reach a pre-order page: $7,999 up front or $449 a month, with a fully refundable $250 deposit. An 8-hour battery covers a long session, and the robot is autonomous by default for its Laundry Flow and Daily Reset routines, with human teleoperators who can step in when a task stalls. First shipments begin in fall 2026 in California, with broader U.S. availability through 2027 (no Europe yet).

Weave Robotics is a Y Combinator-backed San Francisco startup building wheeled home robots that reset rooms — folding laundry, making beds, sorting clutter, and putting items away. Its first product, the stationary laundry-folding Isaac 0, already ships in California; in July 2026 it launched the mobile, dual-arm Isaac 1 at $7,999 (or $449/month), a focused home-utility play rather than a general-purpose biped.
