4NE-1 is Europe's flagship cognitive humanoid, designed and built in Germany around NEURA's Neuraverse fleet-learning OS and a patented touchless 'artificial skin' that senses people before contact. The Gen 3 body was styled with Studio F.A. Porsche, and NEURA now takes public reservations with a refundable €100 deposit, with the industrial Gen 3.5 expected to ship in late 2026. NEURA advertises unusually transparent pricing for the sector — widely reported at roughly €98,000 (about $105,000) for one to nineteen units and falling toward €60,000 at fleet scale, though it has not published a final commercial figure. In October 2026 NEURA unveiled Neuron AI, its own in-house 'Perception-Language-Action' foundation model that fuses 3D vision with touch, force, sound, robot state, language, and memory and runs locally across five NEURA robot bodies, and demonstrated a fully autonomous eleven-minute 4NE-1 laundry-handling sequence at NVIDIA GTC Berlin (Oct 20–22). On October 22 it revealed 4NE-1 Gen 4 — a slimmer body roughly 20% lighter, with a black textile exterior, upgraded hands, and 'Smart Limbs' that react with local reflexes — now being prepared for series production, and opened the TUM RoboGym training centre (48 cells, ~100 robots) at Munich Airport's LabCampus; a separate partnership with Austria's NXAI adds xLSTM-based memory for multi-step tasks. A smaller 4NE-1 Mini (132 cm, 36 kg, 25 DoF) is reservable from €19,999.
