Mornine M1 is one of the very few humanoids you can actually buy today: Chery's robotics arm AiMOGA listed it on JD.com in April 2026 at 285,800 yuan (about $41,400), with deliveries from late May. Built for customer-facing service — greeting visitors, explaining and demonstrating cars, guiding test drives, and reception work — it stands 167 cm, weighs 70 kg, and carries 40 degrees of freedom (excluding its dexterous hands), walking at up to 1 m/s with a per-arm payload of about 1.5 kg. A 0.7 kWh battery gives roughly two hours of operation per two-hour charge, and a sensor suite of one 3D LiDAR, two depth cameras, a wide-angle camera, and four ultrasonic sensors supports ±5 cm navigation and its signature trick: autonomously opening a car door. Running Chery's CheryGPT plus DeepSeek models, it converses in about ten languages, and AiMOGA bills it as the first humanoid to carry both EU hardware and software (CE) certification, with deployments across 30-plus countries. It is a scripted service robot, not a general-purpose home helper.
