Chery's home-companion humanoid, for the whole family.
Mobo is AiMOGA's first consumer humanoid — a 0.9-metre home-companion robot that marks Chery's robotics arm moving out of commercial service robots and into the family home. It was unveiled with global pre-orders on October 21, 2026 at the Chery International User Summit in Wuhu, aimed at three jobs: elderly care and companionship, children's companionship (object-recognition queries, stories, English practice), and whole-family care with reminders. Mobo has 22 degrees of freedom for walking and gestures, recognises individual family members via FaceID, and keeps layered factual, episodic, and experiential memories, with an edge-cloud 'MogaCloud' setup that anonymises eligible data on-device before any cloud learning. It runs AiMOGA's self-developed MoAgent — a dual-process agent that pairs long-horizon planning with sub-0.2-second responses, handles up to 16 tasks in parallel, and can pause then resume when interrupted — and converses in more than 20 languages. AiMOGA says Mobo drew interest from over 10,000 prospective users after its World Robot Conference debut in August 2026, but as of launch it has disclosed no price, no delivery date, and no weight, payload, or runtime figures (the numbers here are estimates). Pre-ordering it is a bet rather than a confirmed purchase, and the companionship promise is unproven outside scripted demos.

AiMOGA Robotics is the embodied-AI subsidiary of Chinese automaker Chery, founded in 2025 and built on Chery's automotive supply chain — which it reuses wholesale — and the CheryMind physical-AI foundation model. Its Mornine humanoid is a customer-facing service robot for showrooms, retail, and reception, billed as the world's first humanoid to hold both EU hardware and software (CE) certification, and the wider portfolio now spans the R001 security-patrol robot, the RN001 robotic nurse, and the Argos inspection quadruped. In October 2026 AiMOGA opened global pre-orders for Mobo, its first consumer home-companion humanoid, pushing from commercial services into the family home; cumulative commercial deliveries have passed 3,000 units across more than 60 countries and regions.
