LG's wheeled home robot for a 'Zero Labor Home.'
LG CLOiD is a wheeled home robot unveiled at CES 2026 as the centerpiece of LG's 'Zero Labor Home' vision — a machine meant to cook, do laundry, and tidy up by coordinating with LG's ThinQ smart-home appliances. It pairs a head that doubles as an AI hub (chipset, display, cameras, sensors, and voice-based generative AI) with a torso that tilts to change height, two seven-degree-of-freedom arms, and five-fingered hands, all on a low, stable wheeled base derived from LG's robot-vacuum work. In August 2026 LG announced a partnership with NVIDIA and said it would deploy CLOiD at its washing-machine plant in Tennessee this year for real-world validation, while separately developing a next-generation bipedal humanoid on NVIDIA's Isaac GR00T. CLOiD is still a pre-commercial demonstration platform: at CES it performed scripted chores slowly and did not always finish them, and LG has not disclosed dimensions, battery life, price, or a consumer release date — the numeric figures shown here are estimates.

LG Electronics is a global consumer-electronics and home-appliance maker pushing into physical AI through its Home Appliance Solution Company and its HS Robotics Lab. Its wheeled CLOiD home robot anchors a 'Zero Labor Home' vision, and in August 2026 LG signed a partnership with NVIDIA to build a next-generation bipedal humanoid on the Isaac GR00T foundation model and Jetson Thor compute, targeting a public unveiling in the first quarter of 2027.
