About this unit

Soft-touch 'Care-bot' for companionship and eldercare.

GR-3 is Fourier's first full-size 'Care-bot,' pivoting the GR series from raw industrial torque toward human-facing care and companionship. Unveiled in August 2025 and given its US debut at CES 2026, it wraps 55 degrees of freedom and 12-DoF dexterous hands in a soft-touch shell with 31 distributed pressure sensors, a four-microphone array, and RGB + structured-light vision for face tracking and touch-aware interaction. Dual hot-swap batteries give it around three hours per charge for near-continuous operation. Fourier leans on its rehab-robotics channel — thousands of clinics and hospitals across 40-plus countries — to target eldercare, rehabilitation, education, and public-service roles. GR-3 is in production but sold business-to-business by inquiry; there is no official list price, and third-party estimates range widely (roughly $27,500 to $120,000), so the figure shown is an estimate.

Fourier Intelligence
Shanghai, China · est. 2015

Fourier grew from a rehabilitation-robotics leader into a full humanoid maker. The high-torque GR-2 platform serves research and industry with a modular open-development philosophy, while the newer GR-3 'Care-bot' pivots toward companionship, eldercare, and human-facing service roles.
