A silicone-skinned companion humanoid you can talk to.
Echo is Realbotix's flagship humanoid line, launched on October 26, 2026 by the US (Las Vegas) maker Realbotix Corp (TSX-V: XBOT). This entry covers the Echo Full Body — a full humanoid form standing about 183 cm (female configuration) to 196 cm (male), weighing roughly 40 kg (88 lb), with 39 degrees of freedom and ultra-realistic proprietary silicone skin on its face, neck, and arms down to the fingers. It is built for companionship, education, and wellness rather than physical labor: buyers choose from four characters (the established Aria plus Mila, Dave, and Amar), each with its own personality and voice, and the robot converses in over 100 languages using leading AI platforms including ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. An optional on-device Vinci vision system adds facial recognition, gaze tracking, and emotional-cue reading with a privacy-first, local-processing design. Two honest caveats for buyers: the Full Body is interaction-focused and stationary — its 39 DoF drive fluid upper-body movement, not walking — and operating any Echo requires a monthly app subscription starting at $19.99. The Full Body is priced at $59,950 (a cheaper $11,950 Echo Tabletop desk model is also offered); reservations are open with a $199 deposit, but the initial production run is just 25 full-body units for delivery in the second half of 2027.

Realbotix is a US developer and manufacturer of ultra-realistic humanoid robots and AI systems, publicly traded on the TSX Venture Exchange (XBOT). Built on Matt McMullen's lifelike-robot lineage and now led by chairman and CEO Andrew Kiguel, the Las Vegas company works the expressive, front-of-house end of the market: silicone-skinned robots with advanced facial expression and conversational AI, aimed at companionship, education, wellness, and enterprise reception roles rather than factory labor. In October 2026 it launched its flagship Echo line — an $11,950 tabletop model and a $59,950 full-body humanoid — and opened reservations for second-half-2027 delivery.
