Rainbow Robotics

Rainbow Robotics spun out of KAIST's HUBO Lab, whose DRC-HUBO won the 2015 DARPA Robotics Challenge. Listed on Korea's KOSDAQ (277810), it became a Samsung Electronics subsidiary in 2025 with Samsung holding roughly 35%, and it anchors Samsung's July 2026 'RX' humanoid commercialization push. Its RB-Y1 pairs a humanoid dual-arm torso with a fast wheeled base.
