Figure disclosed a major manufacturing milestone at the end of April 2026: its BotQ factory now produces one Figure 03 humanoid per hour, up from roughly one per day at the start of the ramp — a 24x throughput improvement in under 120 days. The company said it had delivered more than 350 third-generation robots, with monthly shipments roughly doubling for three consecutive months (about 60 in February, 120 in March and 240 in April).

Throughput is the metric that separates demos from a business, and Figure is now competing on the axis that matters most for buyers: can it actually build fleets? The company reports end-of-line yield above 80% — the share of robots passing final inspection — with each unit subjected to more than 80 functional tests, including thousands of squats, shoulder presses and jogging cycles to surface mechanical defects before shipment. Those are the quality signals a logistics or manufacturing customer needs before committing to a multi-hundred-unit order.

Figure paired the production news with progress on autonomy, describing a reinforcement-learning-trained, perception-conditioned controller running end-to-end, with stair traversal cited as the first demonstration of a more general capability. Coupled with the company's roughly $39 billion valuation from its 2025 Series C and its BMW deployment, the April milestone reinforces Figure's claim to be the most industrially serious of the U.S. humanoid contenders. The number to watch next is whether one-per-hour becomes one-every-few-minutes — and whether fielded reliability keeps pace with factory output.
